How do I make this stop?

Already running KillActiveSync to stop this abomination from beeping and
minimising other windows, but for the love of GOD make it stop!

All I want AS to do is to let me drag and drop files to the PocketPC.
Nothing else. No email, no DB's, nothing. Set everything to manual, and it
just keeps making the PocketPC beep. It refuses not to sync.

Please help.

I could do a global hook on CreateProcess, to prevent it from EVER starting,
unless I allow, but this seems like overkill, and a few hours work.

Thanks in advance.

Also, with all the news stories about the Magneto leak, there was reference
to ActiveSync 4.0. Maybe this one will be better.

Manual sync only means that it'll synchronize upon first connect, then
synchronize when you tell it to after that. If all you want to do is
drag and drop files and absolutely nothing else, just connect as a
Guest.
