I saw this ? in another microsoft forum but no answer is given....
I have version 10.0.0.3990 where 10.0.0.3802 was expected .... Try to
reinstall it n i still can't play videos n come up error 14 in the yahoo
music video which i tried to get info but no luck there...Also my restore
point won't go back far enough to unload it back to wmp 9 ........anyhelp is
appriciated
I'm using XP.........

For your info:

Downloading Windows Media Player 10 from the Microsoft download site gets
version 10.0.00.3802

WMP10-KB892313 updates to version 3901
WMP10-KB888656 updates to version 3923
WMP10-KB911565 updates to version 3990
WMP10-KB912452 updates to version 3993

try installng divx with out the divx player this enables wmplayer to play
most videos
