Good Day,
somewhere, but i forgot where, i read something about a kind of patch that
one can download and install, to Stop MS Update from automatic downloading
Vista SP-1, in march. (i read so many problems etc. with that package and
maybe it will affect some installed programs on my computer, e.g. The Print
Shop/Broderbund).
Does anybody know how to handle this?

It is only one patch for that specific download. It will let all the other
updates go on.
Thanks. pitrpaulus

Set the Windows Update options to "Notify me but do not download .." to
prevent the unwanted download of SP1. When SP1 is offered, hide the update:

Change how Windows installs or notifies you about updates
