WNetEnum error message

How do I fix the following error message? The procedure entry point
WNetEnumCached Passwords could not be located in the dynamic link library
MPR.dll. This screen pops up continuously and I have to click on it 3 times
to get it to disappear and then it reappears repeatedly.

In what context does the above occur?

What version of Windows are you using?

What version of the file
C:\WINDOWS\System32\mpr.dll
do you have installed?

What does this have to do with Windows Update, the topic of this newsgroup?
