"wnsgupdt" error message

The complete error message "wnsgupdt" invalid page fault
in module kernel 32.dll @ 167:BFFB992 occurs and stops any
browser activity and the ability to shut down windows 98.
There is no reported fix in the knowledge base. What is
the solution or fix for the above error? Thanks.
