Won't allow me to update; error 0x8024D007

My computer will not allow me to turn on my Automatic Update settings to
allow it to automatically update and when I try to update through
www.microsoft.com it gives me error number: 0x8024D007.

This is a known update issue here is a workaround...

I found that Windows Update was failing to register WUAUENG.DLL. I used the
FILEMON tool from www.sysinternals.com to monitor what was happening while
manually
registering this file using the following command:

REGSRV32 c:\windows\system32\wuaueng.dll

This showed that the SHFOLDER.DLL file was missing. Replacing this file
should resolve your issue

How would you replace that file?
