Won't configure updates...

I am able to install updates, and actually get a "pending" message beside the
updates in the Update Manager. But when I restart my computer, I get a 0%
installed message next to the 3-3 updates etc. then a message that the
updates weren't configured correctly.

I'm about ready to punt, any help is appreciated.
