My normal.dot file in Word 2003 increases in size

That is normal. If it gets too big, delete it and a new one will be
created.

Yep, I know this, the kb article said so but also said it could be cured by
use of VBA, anyway if I delete it, I shall have to redo the toolbar and
footer customizations!
