Word Pad

I have an assignment to do under word pad. And it requires me to go to the
help menu. When I push the help button on my computer or F1, the help menu
does not pop up. But when I go under other programs and push the help menu,
the help menu pops up.

Please Help

Does the Help topics window open when you press the Help
button on the menu with WordPad open?

With Wordpad open F1 opens HTML Help. Now if this is in Windows XP or you
have been d/l various IE security updates there is no telling what you may
have done to HTML Help. What I would do is check your Help topics and see
if you can click on a topic which opens a window such as Network
connections. If that fails then that's your reason. If not you're OK and
there is some other issue.
