I am using Windows ME and I CANNOT OPEN WORDPAD DOC. MESSAGE MSWRD832.CNV
APPEARS It worked before my Microsoft updates

No, they are not Wordpad documents. They are Word documents.

Mswrd832.cnv Error
You are trying to open a document that was created with a late version
of Word.
Wordpad is not a suitable program for opening such files.
