wordpad problem

While using wordpad, I can access the font menue and select a different font
or font size but when I look into the wordpad window or look at a print-out
from the printer, the font and font size is always the default. Your
suggestions please.

You need to select the text before changing the font type in the menu. Try
pressing CTRL+A to select all text, so that you get the idea.
