Does anyone know if any of these versions of WordPerfect are Vista-compatible?

You should visit the support web site of the manufacturer of
your old software and see if they are supported in Vista.
There may be new software updates available or new versions.

As far as software compatibility, please see:

X4 is the latest and greatest. X3 is relatively new.

Get away from your keyboard and go out into the sunshine now and then
and experience the real world.

That statement is for version 12 or earlier. X3 and X4 are fine.

X3 can easily be patched to run on Vista; X4 is Vista-compatible

Both X3 and X4 run fine on Vista. I personally run X3 under Vista
without problems

I'm not sure about 12, but I believe there are problems with it under
Vista.

WordPerfect Crash

I have been using WordPerfect X3 in Vista Ultimate, and it was working
great for months. Then suddenly, it would not load ... it crashed each
time I tried. I searched the Corel site and came up with this very
handy tip

'Support - Home'
This can happen if a document in your default workspace for WordPerfect
has become corrupted. WordPerfect tries to open the document and hangs
or crashed trying to open the corrupted document which is part of the
default workspace. To resolve this issue, rename the Corel key in the
system registry, to reset the default Workspace for WordPerfect.

Edit the Registry*
Launch the Windows Registry Editor
Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software
Right click on the Corel folder and select Rename
Call the new folder CorelOld
Close the Windows Registry Editor and relaunch WordPerfect.
