If you are experiencing 0x8007045A when you try to install updates, try
logging out and logging in as a NON-DOMAIN user (ie: the admin account of the
local pc).

I was able to download and install updates fine. Please follow up a reply
if this helps you.

Of course the bug persists if you try to use windows update under a domain
account. At least we know its tied to the domain somehow.
