However - I would bet the question would be, "Why should we care?"

This is a peer-to-peer newsgroup - a forum for asking/answering questions.
In this specific case - a place to ask and answer questions about the
"Windows Update" function in Windows.

Well, I took a note, a sticky note, and put it on the monitor, but then I
couldn't see the screen, so I took it off and put it on the bulletin board
instead. When I walk by I read it. Not sure what, if any action I should
take though.

Word of advice, if you want windows updates, why not go into your control
panel and activate automatic updates?
