WoW freezes a few minutes after Vista awakes from sleep

World of Warcraft works fine with Vista for me, but ONLY after I restart my
computer first before logging into the game.

Vista does not like to play WoW right after it comes out of sleep mode.

My game screen will freeze a few minutes into the game session and Vista
totally crashes with no way to close the operating system or the game.

Power down your PC instead of using sleep mode.

Most likely its the video card that doesnt like it. Are you on the latest
drivers for it?

Besides, what on Earth are you doing that you arent playing WoW long enough
for the machine to enter sleep anyways? <G>

That's what is so confusing... it's a new computer with new dual SLI nVidia
8600 GTS video cards...

WoW plays just fine after a Vista restart or a cold start after shutdown...
it just won't keep running when I log in after waking Vista from sleep!

Have you tried the Blizzard boards to see if anyone else is having the same
issue? Just curious.
