Wrong headings in Windows Explorer

Whenever I use Windows Explorer to look at my hard drives, the headings in
the right-hand pane all releate to music, not to files. The headings are
"Name", "Artist", "Album", "#" and "Genre". I'd like them to be "Name",
"Type", "Date Modified" and "Size". The Documents folder is correct, but I
have to change each other folder manually and that takes some time as I can
only remove one column at a time. Why did it go wrong, and how can I reset
the default?

Hi Doug

In addition to Andre's post, you can set the folder template to wha
you want (All Items) as well. Look at the examples for the differen
folder templates

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/77...-templates.htm

If you are having trouble with Vista remembering your settings as yo
lest left them when you close the window, then see Method Two in thi
tutorial
