hi,

I just don't understand what people's problem with windows vista is!
Everyone says it doesn't work with 3rd party applications.... well guess
who's fault that is! The company that made the app!

Anyways I wanted to hear what issues people had with vista and how we can
resolve them!

Thanks
James

Before I got my new system with Vista I knew what was not up dated by other
vendors and was prepared. Fro example I called HP about my HP printer and
they said they would not be issuing drivers for Vista. So go buy one. That
was an HP decision not MS. So I think that applied across the board

Now some people will tell you to go buy Mugabe software...now that is one
crazy piece of OS. A friend of mine tried it and after three days it still
would not install. The name alone should tell you to run like hell!

Any operating system can be a problem if the neccessary reseach is not done
before deploying. This applies to Windows, Linux, Unix and Mac OS X. Every
new version of an OS certain to be disruptive in some way, either an
application or device will not work.

And these imaginary problems that you've made up are? Let's see, do you
mean these?:

1. No activation required.

2. No becoming genuine required.

3. No chance of acquiring viruses or malware.

4. No chance of becoming part of a botnet like millions of Windows boxes
are.

5. No chance of having to pay for your operating system.

6. No chance of having to pay for programs unless you just have to use a
Windows based program.

7. You'll be deprived of your daily habit of updating anti virus and
anti malware programs.

There must be more that you can add, can't you Mike?

Because some forums skim newsgroup posts.
Some are more open that others.
While others would like visitors to mistakenly believe the posts
originate in their forums which can falsely lead someone to believe
the forum is something it is not.
It is little or no work for the forum operators to skim since they
avoid all the work normally associated with operating a forum.

Yep, going for the Vista Virus will cost you a lot of money and all you
get is a fancy dancy virus prone copy of Windows.

Um, that doesn't exist. Mugabe is a dictator and has never developed or
had software developed in his name. That makes you a liar. Just what
sort of connotation did you hope to achieve in the minds of the readers
with this lie?

now that is one

If you are referring to Ubuntu, the name means 'Humanity to others' Your
