Wrongly named hard drive

3 years ago I connected a Tomtom satnav to my PC running XP. It renamed the
the C drive TomTtom (C and changed the icon. I tried renaming it, but it
immediately reverts back. Everything else worked OK so and I could not find
out what to do so I didn't worry.
I have now got a new computer with Vista and a new satnav. I never
connected the old satnav to the new computer but did transfer files and
settings.
Now the new computer has the same problem. Device Manager shows it OK but
Start > Computer shows - TomTom GO (C
Any ideas would be very welcome.

Hi,

If you set folder options to see hidden and system files, you'll probably
find an autorun.inf file on the root of C:. Deleting it should resolve the
issue.

Look for an Autorun file in the root of C:
If it's there ... delete it.

Thank you both. Too easy, and I had spent so long.
