Good afternoon,

I encountered the same problem reported here:-
http://www.eggheadcafe.com/conversat...eadid=32708573

They referred me to this newsgroup.

WSUS 2.0 SP1 is installed on Windows Server 2003, but for various reasons
uses SQL Server 2000 for its database.

We recently installed 2 new Windows Server 2008 64-bit servers, and they are
displaying as "64-bit version of Windows Vista".

Is there a patch for this, or do I need to install WSUS 3?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Robert

There are no *patches*. You need to install WSUS 3 SP1.

OK, thanks for letting me know. I'll have to plan WSUS 3 SP1 then.
Probably easiest to install fresh on a different server with SQL Server 2005
installed.
