WSUS 3.0 on a server with SQL2000 - Can they coexist?

I have a server that I would like to use for my WSUS 3.0 installation,
however it currently has SQL2000 installed for IIFP services.
Basically this is a pretty nice server that sits there doing nothing
for 22 hours a day and it's only activity is the 2 one hour windows
that it syncs our Exchange GAL with our parent company.

I presume that I could probably install WSUS with the internal 2005
database it has and probably be OK, however I don't really know how to
fix the IIFP service should I break it.

The WSUS3 installation with the Windows Internal Database will not affect
your SQL 2000 installation at all.

In fact, because it's SQL 2000, it will complete ignore the installation.
