WSUS "Agent Failed Detecting with Reason: 0x8024400e"

I installed the Windows Server Update Service on W2K SP4 server about 6 weeks
ago and only 21 out of 84 computers have reported status. The other 63
computers give me an error under Last Detection Results. "Error: Agent Failed
Detecting with Reason: 0x8024400e" I used the Client Diagnostic tool to test
a couple of the computers and they passed with no errors. All the computers
are running XP Pro SP2. The Server is Running W2K SP4, IIS 5, BITS 2.0, .NET
Framework 1.1 SP1 and IE 6.0 SP1. Any ideas what could be causing this error
and how to fix it?

Perhaps try the WSUS Newsgroup
