The current au version is 7.2.600.788. My WSUS server still has the old
version 7.1.600.65.

I cannot figure out how to get the WSUS server client upgraded in the self
update tree so the clients can receive the new version.

Any help would be appreciated.

7.1.6001.65 is the latest WSUS version of AU. You don't need the 7.2 version
for use with WSUS.

There isn't any way to do this. If you really must have the 7.2 version
(although I'm not aware that it offers any advantages) you'll have to install it
manually on the clients.

However, if you can wait for WSUS 3 service pack 2 to be released, it might have
the 7.2 client.

Harry.

Thanks Harry,

When I have it installed, it seems to alleviate the synch problems that I'm
having with my x64 client servers. I can push it with SCCM if needed.
