      04-27-2007
I've setup windows update service in my windows server 2003 and configured
local group policy to obtain update. But WSUS console doesn;t show any
computers. Pls advise.

Perhaps try the WSUS Newsgroup

OP was using OE so wouldn't be thinking of using the web interface.

That's why I cross-post. Both web and NNTP users can use it and it is
much easier for me to provide the reference. E.g. in an OE composition
window it would be Tools, Select Newsgroups..., type some minimal pattern
for the target newsgroup name (e.g. in this case c.w up _ ve -- I don't know
that that is actually "minimal" but it serves as an example. <w>); then (usually)
uncheck Show only subscribed newsgroups; then Add.
Keystrokes for above: Alt-T,N c.w up _ ve Alt-S,Alt-A Enter.

An additional benefit is that there is also the possibility of a response
from the target newsgroup in the original thread, though that isn't
necessarily my main objective.

Oh. I see now that you are using the web too? Cross-posting using it
is possible but not nearly as convenient... ; }
