Hello to all NG,

we're using WSUS to keep up to date our systems. All worked fine until toady
when the disk where the patch were dowlnloaded has crashed. I could not move
content so I thought once it was inaccessible to WSUS it would have
redownloaded it but I noticed this is not happened, I force a manual
synchronization but WSUS has downloaded just a few updates (I can't
understand which criteria was "used" in the download process). What I'm
wondering is there a way to force WSUS to fully redowload all updates
previously authorized and locally downloaded?

Thanks in advance to all!

Hi,

You might want to run the command "wsusutil.exe reset"

Output from the help listing (in a command prompt):

--------------------8<----------------------
C:\Program Files\Update Services\Tools>wsusutil.exe help reset
reset command details:

Checks that every metadata row in the database has corresponding
content stored in the file system. If content is a missing or
corrupted, WSUS downloads the content again. This is useful after
restoring a database.

reset
