I have deployed my admin server and everything is working fine, We decide to
add a few downstream servers due to the connection at some of the sites. I
have AD running and I have deployed the GP for the PC's to point to the admin
server. My question is when I deploy the Downstream servers at each location
do I need to point the PC's at those locations to the downstream servers or
leave them pointing to the main server?

Right pew, wrong church. Forwarded to WSUS newsgroup
(microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services) via crosspost as a
convenience to OP.

If you want the remote PCs to obtain updates from their local WSUS server
(the replica(s)),
then you'll want to set the URL in those policies to point to the replica
server(s).

If you leave the URL set to the main server, they'll obtain updates from the
main server.
