Hi,
Trying to re-install WSUS (again) after a hardware issue broke the WID
database.
Removed WSUS 3.0 SP2 and then cleaned up with the cleanup tool then removed
WID with:
msiexec /x {CEB5780F-1A70-44A9-850F-DE6C4F6AA8FB} callerid=ocsetup.exe
When I try and re-install, I get the error:
Service 'Windows Internal Database (MICROSOFT##SSEE) (MSSQL$MICROSOFT##SSEE)
could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install
system services.
As I installed the previous instance of WSUS, I would seem to have
sufficient permissions.
I'm now lost.
Please help!
David
