Installed WSUS and synchronised ok & migrated approvals etc ok but get message

Your WSUS server currently shows no client computers have been set up to
receive updates. For information about how to do this, see To set up a client
computer.

Followed this through - checked policy - seems ok - ran gpupdate /force
wuauclt /detectnow - have waited 48 + hrs - still no client computers

Also deployment instructions say shutdown SUS in inetmgr and change WSUS to
port 80 -
Cant find SUS in intetmgr - despite it having been working fine and if i
change WSUS to port 80 it says it cant restart as port is already in use ?

Running Win 2003 SBS server & Win XP pro workstations

any clues please
