WSUS issues with available computers

I am using WSUS on SBS 2003.

When viewing the WSUS console, I can only see the server and one
workstation. As I go to each workstation and force a detect, it shows up in
the console replacing the previous workstation. I can go back to the first
workstation and run the detect again… the old workstation appears replacing
the new. What is going on here? I have already verified group policy and
membership.

Likely all your machines came from one image, so they all have the same WSUS
ID.
