WSUS Questions and hopefully answers..........

First off, thanks to this forum I have answered most of my questions when
setting up WSUS.
My questions are:
1. How or can I manually apply an update to a client machine. In other
words, is it possible to select a machine and push an update out to that
machine or must I wait for the scheduled time for updates to occur (I hope
I'm Clear??)
2. My server has been running for about 3 days with all clients reporting
successfully. How can I tell if approved updates selected as "install" have
actually been applied. Is there a log or report that shows me the activity of
the server and what updates were pushed out to client machines during it's
scheduled time. I see no failure of updates yet some client machines still
show critical updates needed and I figured those would have been taken care
of 1 or 2 days ago.
