WSUS same SID on workstations

Hello,

Our workstation people have been using ghost to make images. It seems to
work great until we bring the computers into the domain and expect them to
connect the WSUS server. It appears that these workstations share the same
SID and don't show up in WSUS. Is there a way to script a fix for this that
could be run in a login script? I would like to leave the 2700 workstations
alone that have a different SID number and are showing up in WSUS. 700
workstations are not showing up. I would like the script to check the
registry for the SID that is causing problems and delete it and skip the
computers that have a unique SID. If there is another way to do this? I
would appreciate that information too.

Thanks in advance,

Mark B.

Mark,

Suggest you try the WSUS newsgroup. Clicking this link should open OE
and get you there:

Web-based access from here:
