WSUS wihout Active Directory

Hello!

I have network of workstations with Windows XP Pro and Office 2003Std.
I don't want to install AD now only for WSUS.

Is there possible to config Updates for my PCs locally via Windows Server
2003 R2 ?
I can 't find any description. Everywhere is only AD.
