WSUS with windows XP sp2

All,
I'm trying to update roughly 700 pcs (with 3 wsus servers).. The servers are
windows 2003 sp1, all clients are XP sp2 (firewall turned off)..

I set group policy to point to the wsus servers, and it appears that all
clients get updates, or at least every one I polled. But out of 700
machines, only 144 report back to the wsus server.

any ideas where to start looking? I can resolve the server from the client,
and visa versa.

Perhaps try the WSUS Newsgroup
