WSUS wont update clients

When I go to WSUS console it shows most of the computers out there. For some
reason in Microsofts wisdom they left out the manual addition of computers.
Currently it shows in the reports section that all the computers have not
checked in within the last 24 days. How do I fix this so the computers will
start checking in?
