Wsusscn2.cab and WUA Update

Hello,

I've read that WsusScan.cab has been replaced by Wsusscn2.cab.
I've also read that WUA needs to be upgraded.
When using a Windows Update Server (WSUS) and a non microsoft solution
to update the systems in a pc park, does the WUA update itself?
Or do we have to update the WUA?
