WU and sp2 download

I am using Windows XP Pro with sp1. I have WU v5 and just
went into WU and xpsp2 was ready for install. I am not
sure if my computer will take the sp2 (was told on
another post that I should wait) and I have been reading
all about it, printing off all that I would need to
install, but don't think I want to do it until all bugs
are out of system. I did order the xp2 CD (will take 4-6
wks to arrive). But even with the CD I am not sure if all
the bugs will be worked out with that. My question is
this: Is there a way to get rid of the install on WU for
the xpsp2 or can I just choose to ignore it? I just don't
want to accidently install it before I am ready to. I
don't think I will do this because I would have to
actually click the install button and that would be no
accident. Will it hurt to just leave it there? Any advice
or help?
