WU not installing Updates : Probs with NIS 2004?

Hi there,

I just installed Win XP SP2 on an Athlon64 3500+ box and then put Norton
Internet Security over the top of that.
When I go to Windows Update, I get two critical updates to install which are
downlaoded fine, but then just sit there once 'Installation initialized' has
occurred. NIS may be blocking something, but I wouldn't have a clue what or
how to fix it. I have the log from those transactions below.

Also, I tried the advice of some websites out there and now when I get to
windowsupdate.com, I get error code 0x800A01AE

Any and all help really appreciated.
