on Win2003
My last WU went bad. On restart an automatic install started but never
completed.
Current situation:
1. I can't install or remove ANY software anymore. All installers hang
2. WU site doesn't work anymore. It says forever at "Checking for the latest
updates for your computer..." with the green progress bar.
3. every time I log in, the same installer tries to install something and
hang for at least thirty minutes before displaying "Install server not
responding"
4. I tried removing all RunOnce registry entries to no avail
5. The BITS service also hang. Can't stop are disable it
Anybody have a clue?
