Hi,

If you use WSUS, note that the policy "Allow non-administrators to
receive update notifications" does not exist in the wuau.adm file that
comes with WinXP SP2.

The wuau.adm in the folder %windir%\inf on the WSUS sever includes
this setting.

I'm looking for an option that might give me the possibillity to install
hotfixes when the user restart the pc....

example:

an update has been downloaded, then when the user has completed the days
work he shuts down the pc. Then in the morning her starts his pc and in the
boot process applies the hotfix....
If apply the hotfixes during daytime while the user is working on the pc,
the pc could get unstable and because the new hotfix has not yet been
properly applied.

I want the user NOT to be asked or bothered with any dialogs or questions
during these Update installations

can this be done ??? I know of the restart function, but that's not very
clever .... what if the user is working in a document that he / she hasen't
saved
