wuauclt.exe and SMS

Hello,
The company i work for has SMS 2003 SP1 installed on a windows 2003 Active
Directory. All clients have Advanced Agents on.
My question is: 1 of the machines (xp sp1)with advanced client installed
freezes. When you can get into Task manager the following is using 99%
wuauclt.exe. Does this have somthing to do with SMS.

The Windows update in cntrl Panel is disabled. Can someone point to more
information about the relationship between wuauclt.exe and SMS.

Sparkie,

You need to Disable the Automatic Updates service from running on the XP
box via the Services console, too.
