wuaueng.dll problem

I have tried to get the Automatic Update service started to no avail. (Gets
error number: OX8DDD018). Was able to 'temporarily' set to Automatic, then it
went to Stopping to Disabled. Now unable to restart.

System may be infected with malware :-
