I have automatic update on, and a series of updates were applied this morning.

now, I'm seeing these problems:
1. I have ie7, but the tabs are gone; I have tabs enabled in internet options
2. drop down menu lists in both ie and ff no longer work, for example
View --> Toolbars the drop down list for toolbars does not appear
automatically..I need to select Toolbars to see the next list
3. when I brought up ie for the first time today, the google taskbars had a
problem and have disappeared.

can anyone help me?

Thanks
Tom

ok, I'll post to the ie7 group, but I posted here first because the problems
started after the automatic updates that took place at 5 am on 2/14. Isn't it
worth mentioning that here in case the updates were the root cause?
