In the wus documentaion the new .adm file is supposed some additional gpo
setting for the clients. I used the .adm file from a windows xpsp2 and I do
not see these additioanl features. One was Allow non-administrators to
receive update notifications and the other Remove Links and access to windows
update. Any idea where I can find this new .adm file?

Hi

First, a fyi:

Microsoft has established the newsgroup microsoft.beta.wusoep.general
for the Windows Update Services (WUS) beta version.

More about how to access this newsgroup here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserv...newsgroup.mspx

To get to the WUS version of wuau.adm:

After installing WUS, if you go to the folder
%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Windows Update Services\Selfupdate\au\x86\xp\
you will find wucltui.cab files under the different language folders.

Inside wucltui.cab, you will find the latest wuau.adm that is updated
with new WUS options.
