WUS Beta question

I have a WUS Beta question. I have WUS installed on a server and can't
synch with microsoft. We have a firewall that doesn't like to let apps
through without a declared "USER AGENT". Additionally, I can get to the
internet from the WUS server, I can get to Windows Update from the WUS
server but when I try to synch, it errors out with the following text:

Any ideas?

Something I forgot to mention in my first post. Is the SQL server supposed
to be running in SUS. The icon down in the system tray does not show that
WMSDE is running, however when I look in the system tray I see the MSSQL
icon with just a plain white circle, (no red box and no green triangle).
Any advice??? I am not a SQL type.

Actually, it is not.

For the Windows Update Services (WUS) beta/evaluation, Microsoft has
established the newsgroup microsoft.beta.wusoep.general on another
news server.
