Running, 98se, IE6, now when I go to certain sites, all I get are boxes with
"X"'s in them instead of words or pictures. IE example, e-bay, where a pic
should be is now just "X", orwww. downloads.com samething on that page. Still
can't get Net. Framework to load either. Have tried EVERYTHING mentioned on
this site.

You might try a more relevant newsgroup than one for Windows Update.

IE6 newsgroups.
