x64 Clean Install BSOD

Hi all, I have searched the forums but haven't come accross my
particular problem yet. On a clean install of Vista x64 Home Premium,
it goes through all the way to "completing Installation" reboots, goes
to "loading for the first time" and then blue screens at the same spot
every time. It's a generic Stop 0x0000007e error so I figured it was
a driver issue. I've tried switching graphics cards, disabling the
onboard sound, taking off the USB mouse/keyboard, checked the memory,
and ended up loading XP (32 bit) on the system and running the vista
upgrade advisor to see what was incompatible. The advisor says
everything should work fine, and only has a question mark (no info
available) about the onboard sound chipset and onboard network
chipset. Nothing comes up as incompatible though, so I figured I'd
ask. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a similar problem. I used 2 gigs of memory for loading of Vista
HP 64Bit and had no issues. Once I put in my 2 sticks of 2GB Muskin I
will get the blue screen about every other reboot. Is it 64 not working
well with 4GIGs of memory? Could it be the WD Raptor? I am thinking it
is the memory not liking vista 64bit. Any help would be nice.
