Yes it is a 64bit processor
A platform change requires a clean install. X86 to 64bit is a platform
change..
Vista should be installed on a partition larger than 30gb. Double the size..
All user created data can be copied/moved over to the other partition and
Vista 64 then installed onto C.. Applications will have to be re-installed..
