XDS performance counters in NTDS

I am trying to know whether following performance counter of NTDS are
available in windows 2008 onwards or not ?
XDS Searches , XDS Client session , XDS Reads , XDS Writes .

Microsoft window 2003 document claims availability of XDS counters in
perfmon but I have never seen XDS performance counters on win2k3 perfmon

Is there any specific settings need to be done to load these counters . ??

Hello v123a,

As far as i know and have seen, they belong to administrative programs that
are installed on a DC. I have seen them on a Windows server 2003 DC where
Exchange is installed for example.
