hi ,i hope someone can help,
i have a seagate usb drive which has been connected to a nas drive it has
worked fine for ages but now the seagate isn't being picked up by the nas.The
seagate is formatted in XFS format as is the nas.I would like to know if
there is any way i can read the files or copy them from the seagate so i can
re-format the drive. I know that vista won't be able to read it so i need to
know which software or operating system can read it
thanks for any help

Hi Marty,

You have 2 options:

1) Purchase "UFS Explorer" because the demo/trial version will not allow you
to copy files above 64KB.

2) Use a Linux "Live CD", boot your system with it, then copy/move your
files.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Omid
