XML Core Services 4.0 (928088) created a new folder in C:\

I just installed Microsoft XML Core Services Could Allow Remote Code
Execution (928088) security update and i notice that this update created a
new folder on my C:\ drive with this folder name
8d8de6cb1135336f4c00......so on. Has anyone notice this new folder on C:\
Folder 8d8de6cb1135336f4c00...... ? Can i delete the folder or is that folder
needed?

That's normally a temporary folder in which the update is extracted.
It should be deleted after a successful installation. Please reboot
Windows if you didn't already and verify afterwards the file version
of the msxml4.dll in the System32 folder. If that's showing version
4.20.9841.0 (file properties), it's safe to delete the temporary
folder.
