xmlsscript: Error: XML document must have a top level element Line:0
(sometimes line 7)

Could someone please explain to me how to determine what process is causing
this error to be displayed. This is a new laptop with very few things
installed on it and I keep getting these messages every minute or so. When I
look at the event logs there is no indication of the cause. I would think
that in any OS you could tell what process is actually in charge of a
particular dialog. I have gone round and round speculating with others in
news groups and forums about what it could be, but it would seem that no one
really knows and no one really knows how to tell. The currently running
process list is HUGE compared to what I am actually doing and the processes
themselves are labeled like anagrams. My hunch is that there was an error
during an install and that error is stuck in never never land.

Please help so I can get back to work...

Thanks,

Shane
